6.5 magnitude earthquake strikes Puerto Rico in recent flurry of quakes

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake has struck Puerto Rico, the largest one in a recent flurry of quakes that began on December 28th. A tsunami alert was initially issued, but later canceled. The Electric Power Authority reported an island-wide power outage. Earlier, a 5.8 magnitude quake collapsed five homes in the southwest coastal town of Guánica.
