Taiwan re-elects Tsai Ing-wen as President

As per reports, Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen has won a re-election on Saturday. Figures from the election commission show her leading her main opponent by a significant gap, signalling strong voter support for her tough stance against China. Results from the Central Election Commission showed Tsai won 58 per cent of the vote.
