Iran’s sole female Olympic Medalist rebukes establishment in Tehran

Taekwondo champion Kimia Alizadeh, 21, who won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics has claimed herself as one of many women who live under oppression in the Islamic Nation-state of Iran. This comes in the wake of recent increased tensions between the U.S./Iranian militaries which led to the death of General Soleimani and the deaths of almost 180 people upon a Boeing 737.

Read and be inspired America. This is what actual courage looks like from an athlete. She fled real oppression, not the cringe-inducing tweets of Nike and Krapernick.

Why would she defect? I have been told by the news media that Iran is a great place victimized by the great satan.

Is there not an interview done by Carl Benjamin of an Iranian-(Canadian?) who said the Iranian people still resent the fact that the Arabs Islamicized Iran all of those centuries ago to the point that the Iranians are racist against the Arabs? It is as if Zoroaster created a healthier Iran than Muhammed!

How blessed she is to have been able to safely leave Iran and begin anew in a country where she will no longer be exploited. Her religion and culture comes with her. She is now hopefully free to choose.

Yes!! The oppressed woman of Iran, ALLOWED to compete in the Olympics, in a semi-contact sport... And trained by coaches funded by the state.... And presumably allowed to study in Europe, also funded by the state.... Has the option of returning to said state, with all of those sanctions and potential dangers of all out US AGRESSION, and opts for a safer life... In Europe.. Who could blame her, saying whatever she needs to say to stay where she wants to stay??

Hey wait a minute if this woman’s not lying then why haven’t I heard about this oppression from western feminists and SJWs ?? I’m sure that they couldn’t miss this amount of patriarchal oppression by ultra religious conservatives! I bet all their protests were suppressed by the right wing media.
