British philosopher Roger Scruton dies at 75

Sir Roger Scruton, one of Britain’s most prominent philosophers, passes away following a six-month battle with cancer at the age of 75. He was the author of some 50 books on morals, politics, architecture, and aesthetics and was knighted in 2016. Sir Roger also received honors from Poland and Hungary for his work supporting dissidents during the Cold War.
