Journalists quit Iranian state broadcaster over crash cover-up

At least two Iranian journalists at a state-owned media outlet IRIB reportedly resigned from their jobs, and another left a while back as Tehran grapples with the fallout from protests stemming from a cover-up of its accidental downing of a Ukrainian airliner. Gelare Jabbari, one of the journalists who quit, apologized in an Insta post, writing: ’...Forgive me for the 13 years I told you lies.’

Good for them for doing it now. Would be nice if American journalists could put down their Learn to Code books and do the same.

I wish journalists in the west had integrity like this.
