Kentucky miners block coal train over missed paychecks

A group of coal miners and their families in Kentucky blocked a train hauling a large shipment of coal after they claimed that they hadn’t received a month’s paycheck. Working for Quest Energy in Pike County, the miners say they haven’t been paid since December 16th.

Leftists still don't realize or just don't care that china and India produce over half of all pollutants in the world nowadays. Leftists ultimately don't care about the environment, they just want to see the west burn and Communism put into place as our main political ideology and these predators will use anything to get their way.

This is why we need to democratize the workplace and strengthen unions. Corporations don’t care about their employees. They only care about profits. I’m proud of these workers standing up in solidarity for fair wages for fair labor.

A similar issue happened July last year in a different area of Kentucky. A friend of mine who lived an hour or so away from the area took up some donations to deliver them some pizzas and other things. While I was only able to donate 25 (I wanted to give much more where I had grown up in a miner family) and others donated towards the stand too, it was able to help them stay there for a while with extra supplies. They were able to hold out for long enough until they won out and got settled. I'm going to see if there would be anyone in the area I trust to send more financial or pizza support with.

Coal is dead, let's get these miners into some new careers in the energy business. There is plenty of need for manual skilled labor.
