Australia’s massive fires could become routine, experts warn

Scientists have warned that the bushfires in Australia provide a foretaste of the conditions that could become normal unless the world moves rapidly to curb emissions of the greenhouse gases. The scientists argued that climate change had led to an increase in the frequency and severity of ’fire weather’ periods (a combination of hotter temperatures, low humidity, low rainfall and strong winds).

The Australian government has been warned for over a decade they need to do more burn offs to prevent large scale fires. But due to the climate change hysteria, and uneducated/misinformed people, they've reduce burn offs that actually prevent large scale fires.

Given that we have just seen a perfect storm of a prolonged and widespread drought, governmental incompetence, bad fire management policy, and hundreds of people deliberately lighting fires; I strongly doubt that the scale of this fire season will become the norm or even a regular occurrence.

I literally just watched a bushfire from my front yard get out of control. Thankfully it's now under control
