Scientists create ’living’ robots out of stem cells

Researchers from the University of Vermont and Tufts University have succeeded in using living cells from frog embryos into other new life-forms, which they are referring to as a ’living, programmable organisms’. Called ’xenobots’ the self-healing creatures can approach towards targets and can help in carrying medicine inside a patient’s body or conduct similar work.

Imagine your endurance if you could get these to covert or carry away lactic acid produced in muscles from exertion, no more painful workouts or recoveries. Or slow release anti-depressants for mood regulation. Or pain relief to specific muscle groups or only inflamed cells and structures. Or to reproduce at the same rate as cancer cells and individually encapsulate and flush them out of the body as they start. One can be scared of new technology, or one can see uses and how it can make your life better. It's not some vengeful imaginary god, it's just facts and science.
