Bose is closing all stores in North America, Europe, Australia and Japan

Bose said it’s closing 119 store locations across North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan in the coming months. The audio equipment company says the move is due to ’the dramatic shift to online shopping.’About 130 stores will remain open in Greater China, UAE, India, Southeast Asia, and South Korea. Hundreds of employees are expected to be laid off. Bose said that it will be offering severance

just dumb curiosity, is there closing all their stores and getting rid of all the overhead does that mean their products will be cheaper? or because they're closing all their stores and only selling online their prices on products staying the same?

Audio equipment seems like one of the things you should not buy online if you can avoid it. Basically you would be trusting vendor marketing and 3rd party reviews which may just be vendor schills.

China made entertainment products have no use for audio qualiry stuff. Anything that makes sounds is just music to their ears
