Indian Minister says Amazon’s $1 billion investment ’no big favor’

India’s trade minister Piyush Goyal has said that Amazon hasn’t done India any big favors by investing $1 billion in the country. The comments come following Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos promise of investing $1 billion to bring small businesses online in the country. A probe has been launched in India to look at allegations of deep discounts and whether the companies discriminate against small sellers.

Jeff Bozzo is just flashing some cash hoping to have regulations changed so his business model will work in India. He knows the Indian market is the future and hasn't been able to really impact into China yet either. 2014-16 they announced 5-6 billion alone and still they haven't been able to soften the regulations so they can 'disrupt' (read crush competition) like they did in unregulated markets like the US where they enjoy government handouts (socialistic) like129 million in tax refunds for the fiscal year 2018 while they won't pay living wages, create unions, and treat employees like robots.
