Trump impeachment trial begins as senators are sworn in

The Senate opened the impeachment trial of President Trump on Thursday with Chief Justice John Roberts swearing in the 100 senators. Earlier in the day, the two articles of impeachment were read out on the floor. At least two-thirds of the senators would have to vote to convict the president. The trial will get underway substantively when the Senate reconvenes after the holiday weekend on Tuesday.

Is it really that 'historic' when most people were alive to witness Clinton's impeachment proceedings? I mean it might be memorable if Trump actually gets impeached, but we are not at that point yet.
