First robot to bend its wings like a real bird unveiled

Scientists have built a PigeonBot - billed as the first robotic pigeon with actual feathered wings. Researchers built the robot with real pigeon feathers, whose faux wrists and fingers can morph its wing shape - something observed from the study of dead pigeons. It is believed that having birdlike wings could help airborne machines make better turns in tighter spaces.
