Ranked - The best countries to raise a child

This year’s Best Countries Report compiled by U.S. News & World Report and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania has ranked Denmark, Sweden and Norway as the best countries to raise a child. ’These countries tend to have generous paternal leave and maternal leave, offer free preschool and have good overall public education systems’, a researcher said. The US came in at number 18.

I wouldn't necessarily trust this survey. The original site (in the overall ranking) has Sweden 8th behind the US in 7th, despite Sweden having a massive rape and immigration crisis currently. Even with gangs having to self-patrol certain areas to keep the peace, somehow there are no nations between them and the US? I find that unlikely. They also put Germany and the UK higher, and I find that unlikely too (given changes in the last few years.)
