Senate approves USMCA trade deal by overwhelming margin

A bipartisan majority in the Senate approved a new trade agreement Thursday, which is slated to replace the NAFTA. The Senate voted 89 to 10 for the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). The House of Representatives backed the bill last year, voting 385 to 41 after Democrats succeeded in winning changes on labor, environment, and some other provisions. The measure goes to Trump for his signature.

89-10 vote. Pretty significant win for Trump, even though I have mixed feelings about these sorts of trade deals.

Labor unions and workers rights to fight big corporations is a good part of this. Do the Trumpers even know this aspect of it? lol. They have been staunchly against unions. So...thanks 😂🤷‍♂️
