Valve says ’Left 4 Dead 3’ is absolutely not in development

Valve has rejected reports that suggested the development of Left 4 Dead 3 is in process, saying that it is ’absolutely not working on anything L4D related now, and haven’t for years.’ The company is set to release the much awaited Half-Life: Alyx for VR soon.

Of course they aren't. If anything it would be called Left 4 Dead 2: Episode 2.

"The much anticipated Half-Life:Alyx" Anticipated by who? VR is still niche and anybody who played the original Half-Life games knows better than to expect anything from Valve. Stream is a heck of an achievement but it robbed us or an incredible games studio. ☹️

Yeah, it's not. The gameplay is already done, they just stopped because they couldn't decide between using Source or Source2 for the game engine and they haven't bothered to go back to it.

I've been expecting Half-Life 3 until 2020. I need to see that Lambda Core.
