A winter storm that brought blizzard conditions to the Plains and Midwest on Saturday is expected to dump up to a foot of snow in parts of the Northeast on Sunday. Snowfall totals of between 6 and 12 inches were expected from New York to central Maine, the National Weather Service said Saturday. The weather in the Midwest saw at least 341 crashes reported between Saturday morning and afternoon.
