US Space Force reveals earth-toned camouflage uniform

In response to criticism caused by the US Space Force (USSF) unveiling its utility uniform on Friday, the USSF representative explained that it used ’current Army/Air Force uniforms’ to save costs and its members ’will look like their joint counterparts they’ll be working with, on the ground’.

space isn't black, it's dark. and camo is just standard for military dress... geez people think just 5% harder, and might actually amount to something...

Space force will not operate in space. It operates at ground sites that control air and space. Amazing.

Because in space you will detect service personnel by visual spectrum optics I'm sure. This is a stupid complaint. There is nothing wrong with this uniform especially in transition. Honestly nice to see the service not wasting money on cosmetics.

Just plant trees in space. Problem solved.

Not even a new camofluage pattern. they're just using the army's uniform and it saves money than creating a whole new uniform. Why are people so brain dead?

You're right, B.utt K.ing, I wouldn't land on the moon in that uniform. Actually, I would land on the moon in any uniform. You know, because it's an almost absolute zero vacuum. And I don't want to die. But keep asking stupid questions. You're good at it.

For the same reason air force pilots wear green. If they get shot down in enemy territory, they want some sort of camo. But just for shits and giggles I want them to wear Star Trek uniforms.

The people who say this are the ones who act like they care about the military whilst they side with the likes of Kaepernick and get mad if it has anything to do with Trump or something that he is a part of. Full of Hypocrisy and criticism that has no place in a world that is based on logic.

Wait...do you mean to tell me that there were people out there who actually thought that the Space Force was actually going to be soldiers fighting in space...as in literal space marines? How ridiculous! 🤣 True in the the next hundred years or so that may actually happen but it would be absurd to actually have space soldiers launch into space with nobody to fight. The Space Force was formed to protect Americ''s assets in space, such as communications and GPS satellites, from cyberattacks. The US military relies heavily on these satellites so to have them taken offline by cyberattacks could be crippling. Therefore the Space Force was created to ensure that these assets will remain online and protected.

The camo is fine, but am I the only one that thinks space command is a better name than space force.

anyone who hates on this is retarded. you don't need a special camo if youre in fucking space lmao nothings wrong with using the normal gear everyone else is wearing, it wouldnt make a difference if they wore all white all black or camo

HaHa! Oh man, the utterly retarded comments from people who assumed Space Force was an actual branch of soldiers fighting on the moon or space (LOLWUT. Why would we send people into space to fight when robots are easier, cheaper, and more lethal without requiring all that pesky life support?) instead of understanding that Space Force is a new military organization established to determine the methodologies, logistics, organizations, technologies, and techniques that _will be_ used. As in, in the future. :D I got a SERIOUS kick out of reading these comments from people who think and publicly claim to be sooooo much smarter than everyone else. HaHa!

I'm sorry but "Space Force" is such a stupid name. They could have come up with something better.

This isn't a serious criticism, just the web having a laugh. It is not the same as when the Pentagon wasted $28 million on forest camouflage for the deserts of Afghanistan.

Would-u-land on the moon in that? One would think... oh I don't know... sky blue? Star white? Moon Grey? I see they haven't spent a few billion dollars yet to come up with those choices. I guess that is what the extra 130 billion in "startup costs" was for.
