Apple addresses location privacy concerns, adds control to disable spatial chip

The latest beta version of iOS 13.3.1 includes a new toggle switch, allowing users to disable the Ultra Wideband (UWB) chip providing highly precise spatial location. Currently location services remain active despite disabling the setting. The company says the behavior was necessary to disable the UWB in geographies where it was not yet approved.
