A ’blob’ of warm ocean water killed 1 million seabirds

A ’blob’ of unusually warm sea water in the Pacific Ocean was responsible for the deaths of about 1 million seabirds in 2015 and 2016, a study released Wednesday said. The birds likely died of starvation due to the warm water, which severely disrupted the birds’ food supply.

The hot water did not directly kill the birds. More accurate to say that the seabirds starved to death due to limited food.

All Trump's fault, man.

The same news was here a couple days ago with a totally neutral headline saying "mass murdered birds".

Climate change is a convenient cover for overfishing. I’m not commenting on this particular incident but it is certainly being used in New Zealand to explain the reduced condition and numbers of penguins and other sea birds and mammals by a ministry unwilling to confront a problem. You see human beings dredging the sea for everything that swims to sell to countries that have eaten there own stocks has no effect on the food chain where as a warm current is devastating

A hot Ocean, or Overfishing that caused the loss of Seabirds? Blaming the Climate for the deaths of these birds when we are extracting fish by the millions is unwise

How many people has socialism killed. The idiots dropping “reaching propaganda” like this should investigate that instead. Oh yeah it’s the “other kind” of socialism. Not the type they are trying to create through climate alarmism.

perhaps the water was warmer because of over fishing. Maybe the water was warmer because there wasn't fish there swimming around coming the water maybe I have no clue...
