World’s richest 2,000 people have more money than poorest 4.6 billion: Oxfam

The world’s 2,153 billionaires have more wealth between them than a combined 4.6 billion people, new research has claimed. The study done by the charity Oxfam argues that the world leaders are not doing enough to address the widening gap between the poor and the rich, which has resulted in the doubling of world’s billionaires population in the past decade.

I'm far from a Communist. But this is a big problem and there have to be laws to break up monopolies. Large companies like Disney and Google buy up whatever smaller companies they want. Startups do a better job, but get bought up by those who have more money. Also, billionaires do need to pay higher taxes. And if you move operations overseas, US minimum wages should still apply, and if they pay less, then tariffs should make up the rest. That will both help those overseas earn more and also make companies not outsource in the first place because it won't make financial sense.

Comparing apples and oranges. You can't compare people who live in Singapore with people of the economic reality of Bangladesh and come to some silly conclusion that rubs your ego!
