Heather Heyer’s mother says Virginia Democrats’ gun proposals are too extreme.

Susan Bro, the mother of Heather Heyer, a Virginia woman who passed away at a 2017 Charlottesville protest against the removal of a statue of Confederate war hero Robert E Lee, has said the gun restrictions proposed by state democrats are extreme, and go too far.

Pretty obvious that the Democrats are going too far. They've angered a significant percentage of the population and they are being confronted by them. :D

Some of those guns were used to chase a man in a car into a crowd.

Bullshit lying lead headline on here, as is increasingly becoming the case on this site. Here's what she ACTUALLY said: Bro said she thinks some of the proposals are "a bit extreme," but she supports much of the legislation. Stop lying children.

few things to note about guns and their affect on crime: 1. guns do not affect the overall crime rate. it's easy to point to certain events of other people with guns stopping shooters but these are far and in between. 2. at a time when national gun ownership rates are at historic lowes national crime rates have been declining. indicating something other than guns is driving crime down. 3. perception of crime increasing is at odds with what information is saying, likely caused by left wing and right wing covering various stories to try and push an agenda. 4. just straight banning guns doesn't affect overall crime rate because as stated before guns don't affect overall crime in an area. 5. areas with high income inequality tend to have more crime than areas that don't. if these legislators want to end crime they should address income inequality and if they want gun reforms they should institute red flag laws and possibly some kind of state provided psychological testing for gun owners to make sure they won't shoot someone or shoot themselves.

Meanwhile I'm going to vote for someone that advocates for M4A and a rebuilding of our infrastructure so future generations of Americans have a decent future to look forward to.
