Trump slams environmental ’prophets of doom’

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, US President Donald Trump slammed environmental ’prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse’ and called them mere alarmists seeking absolute power. The president also cited similar previous predictions of environmental doom such as the fear of overpopulation of the 1960s and ’peak oil’ concerns in the 1990s.

there's nothing wrong with seeking cleaner and more renewable ways to do things but trying to scare everyone into thinking that if we don't then we'll kill the planet before our grandchildren are born is stupid. also not all forms of renewable are good for the environment. I've heard wind mills have killed alot of birds and that solar panels have to be used for 10 years to combat the waste produced in making them
