Bitcoin, crypto assets not banned in India, says RBI

The Reserve Bank of India informed that Bitcoin (BTC) and other virtual currencies are not banned for the general public. However, banks and other firms are banned from dealing with them. The country’s Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has released a wide range of rules for companies and firms from all over the world to follow and reduce the use of virtual currencies for criminal activities.
