Assange extradition case to be drawn out for months

A London court has ruled that that the hearing to decide whether WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange can be extradited to the US will be split in two, with the second half delayed until May. Assange, 48, faces 18 counts in the US. The first part of the hearing would start on Feb 24 for a week. Both sides argued they needed more time, with Assange’s lawyers saying it was hard to reach their client.
