Chinese safari park ’sorry’ for not telling public escaped leopards on the loose

A safari park in China is facing criticism for hiding the fact that three of its leopards escaped their enclosure over a week ago. Two of the animals from the Hangzhou Safari Park have been captured but the third is still missing. The safari park said it was ’sincerely sorry’ for not announcing the incident sooner, adding that young leopards are believed to be less aggressive.
