Second case of coronavirus confirmed in the US

the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the second case of the new coronavirus, this time in Chicago. The female patient had recently returned from Wuhan, China and did not have symptoms when she arrived in the US. At present, there are 63 suspected cases of the coronavirus under investigation in the country.

Now let's not freak out just yet, the US has exceptionally good epidemic response plans for almost every city. If any outbreak does happen we are in the best place to mitigate the loss of life and to be able to quickly create an effective treatment method. However we also don't know the lethality or the infection rate of the virus as China is complete shit when it comes to these things. Given the fact that we already have a second confirmed case in such a short time leads me to believe that the infection rate is close to the common cold. Basically just wash your hands and don't cough on people and we should be fine. Or maybe we won't be, honestly who cares.

The majority of deaths in China are in the elderly age range and those who are not in good health. The first U.S. man infected who came back to Washington state is healthy and recovering. This is a point that will be diminished to push the scare and agenda for possible maximum vaccination if it spreads to a greater population in the U.S.
