If true, It would dispel rumors that she was purged after her powerful husband was executed on charges of plotting a coup to topple Mr. Kim in 2013. Kim Kyong-hui is the daughter of North Korea’s founder, Kim Il-sung, and sister of Kim Jong-Il, Kim Jong-un’s father and predecessor.
