First impeachment article ’essentially confirmed’ by Bolton allegation: Schumer

Charles Schumer, the Senate Minority Leader said that allegations made by former National Security Adviser John Bolton in his yet to be launched book ’essentially confirm’ the first article of impeachment against President Trump. The New York Times reported that Mr. Bolton had claimed that President Trump had tied Ukrainian aid with help in the investigations into the Bidens.

Duh. It has been explicitly said in Congressional testimony that he "want nothing from them. He wants them to do what's right. Do what they campaigned on." How is something we should all already know news? We all know that these fired stooges make outlandish unverified claims in their books. It's called marketing. It doesn't change the math on the impeachment just because someone is trying to sell books.

So the Dems' evidentiary standard is reached when an allegation is made in a book? It's been alleged in a book that Barack Obama is a shapeshifting lizard from another dimension. I guess that's been "essentially confirmed" then?
