GOP Senators say Bolton revelations ’strengthen’ case for impeachment witnesses

Susan Collins (R, ME) and Mitt Romney (R, UT) said Monday that the major revelations from a soon-to-be released book by President Trump’s former National Security Advisor John Bolton ’strengthen’ the case for calling witnesses in the President’s ongoing impeachment trial. Romney remarked that, ’it’s increasingly apparent that it would be important to hear from John Bolton.’

More unconfirmed propaganda leaking from the DNC. Like clockwork for years now every time they need some "new evidence" a "leaker" shows up with claims that soon are debunked. So sick of this. Americans don't want witnesses. We want this over with. Just dismiss this bogus impeachment and move on. It wasn't time sensitive when Pelosi held the articles and we have an election coming up. In the three years of screaming impeachment they never produced impeachable charges. I absolutely hate the Republicans but this is ridiculous to continue to give this bogus trial any more attention.

It'll be a pleasant surprise to see the House Democrats actually engage in the process of trying to prove their point with their "overwhelming evidence" instead of spamming the proceedings with amendments about witnesses and documents that are not going to prove their charges.

Mitt Romney might as well just join the Democrat party. That's where his support base is.

It's got to get past McConnell first, and he has stated, MANY times, that it isn't going to happen in the opening statements. House Democrats are trying their best to derail the proceedings.

yes if they can get around the obstruction of justice the White House is doing by not allowing any evidence or first hand witnesses. Bolton could kill the procedural defence cooked up by Dershitwits.

Republicans or RINOs? come on Romney get the terms right, just be. honest for once. Trump needs to stop trying to friendly during elections to these phonies. no more endorsements. Murkowski is one more. she is up for reelection this year. Trump needs to go campaign against her in Alaska. no playing anymore. I'm sure Alaska would love a rally.

The good thing out of all this is that the next Democratic president can basically just rule as a dictator and ram through all sorts of progressive legislation, subpoenas, change any rules they want ect. 👍👍 The Republicans have created such a broad precedent for Executive power. Have fun boys and girls!!!

all the witnesses will have to prove his intent. if he believed Biden was corrupt, true or not, it won't matter.

Democrats love the prowar neocons. they both try to force war with the Russians and North Korea. I suggest you look in the mirror. Trump fired this guy because he told Kim the US would kill him if he gave up his nukes. https://www.mediaite.com/politics/former-fox-news-colleagues-and-maga-faithful-turn-on-rejected-neocon-john-bolton/ Former Fox News Colleagues and MAGA Faithful Turn On ‘Rejected Neocon’ John Bolton https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/patrick-goodenough/trump-bolton-set-back-north-korea-diplomacy-bringing-libya President Trump said Wednesday his now-departed National Security Advisor John Bolton had “set back” his North Korean outreach efforts by suggesting that a nuclear deal with Pyongyang follow the “Libyan model.”

It'll be a pleasant surprise to see GOP senators being adults and be open to more information before making their judgment.

When he says "Republicans", he means "the same ones who fought against the GOP on Obamacare and undermined their majority during the Obama years".
