Amazon staffers risk jobs to call out its climate change policies

A new policy at Amazon, which can result in punishment or termination for employees who publicly criticize the company’s stance on climate, has prompted more than 350 employees to speak out. Over the past year, employees have publish a letter containing more than 8,700 signatures, and staged a walkout at offices. In response, Amazon has committed to reaching net zero carbon emissions.

Targeting their job is an internal issue. When they take it outside then the company will take issue. Good luck changing policy unless it's related to social justice.

These people need their freedom of speech as much as Sargon of akkad. While many conservative people won't agree with their views censorship is unacceptable.

Brainwashed/misinformed climate activists can lose their jobs as far as I’m concerned. They can go to work for Greta.

amazon should be made a public utility... like Medicare for all will be... supply for all. that it is private is simply unconscionable... but... it's still awesome in the same way Sears catalog was back in the say. pay Bezos well, certainly... but turn over amazon to citizens.... like a giant co-op.
