Washington Post reporter suspended over her tweet after Kobe Bryant’s death

The Washington Post has suspended one of its reporters after she posted a link to a story about a 2016 rape case involving Kobe Bryant just hours after the basketball star’s death. Felicia Sonmez had tweeted a 2016 story about the 2003 allegations. The Post said Sonmez was placed on administrative leave while it reviewed whether her tweets violated the Post’s newsroom’s social media policy.
