NASA collaborates with ESA to see the Sun’s poles

NASA has collaborated with the European Space Agency in an attempt to snap the first pictures of the Sun’s north and south poles. The new spacecraft will have its first opportunity to launch on Feb 7. The spacecraft is expected to use Venus’s and Earth’s gravity to swing itself out of the ecliptic plane, aligned with the Sun’s equator, where it is expected to have a bird’s eye view at the poles.
