Australia to help some citizens leave China, quarantine them on island

Australia is planning to evacuate its citizens from the epicenter of the virus outbreak in China and quarantine them on an island normally used to detain asylum seekers. PM Scott Morrison said children, the elderly, and short-term visitors to Wuhan and surrounding Hubei province would be prioritized in the evacuation efforts. 600 Australians are known to be in the area.
