House Democrats call for $760 billion in infrastructure

U.S. House Democrats will unveil a proposed $760 billion infrastructure spending bill, aiming to rebuild roads and bridges and reducing carbon pollution. Earlier, the Trump administration had cancelled a follow-up meeting on an agreed $2 trillion infrastructure, after criticizing congressional investigations.

Trump should just put a big highway on top of his border wall, then call it an infrastructure project and use the democrats money.

If we spend taxpayer dollars on taxpayers, then how do we pay for bombs and drones to kill brown people and terrorize the rest of the world?

The richest country in the history of the world should have an impressive infrastructure at the very least. If only we cared as much about how our nation looks like at home as opposed to how our nation building and illegal wars look around the world.

I'd say let Donald Trump manage that task. It seems as though as every time there's money involved he takes care of the issues at hand. I think he's a better money manager than anyone in the D Party.

I could get behind this but unfortunately the carbon emissions language means none of this would go towards solar panels for houses or anything like that ....all of your tax money will be handed to Multi billion dollar corporations so they can "get with the program" so instead of them having to spend their profits to be cleaner companies, We The People get to foot the bill and maybe they might repave a road or two in the State Capitol or something....stop being scammed by feel good words people watch how these con artists actually operate...

Infrastructure spending is just buzz word bullshit. Every fucking year! It's the same "Our infrastructure is crumbling, we need to spend more." And every year same infrastructure as last year. In CA we pass an infrastructure bill every election and what do we have to show for it? Shit highways, roads, and bridges, oh, and a trillion dollar non functioning, go nowhere high speed rail. They should only be able pass budgets for specific projects with specific timelines. No more of this umbrella term for boondoggles and cronyism.

This is something that needs to be done at the state level. Would cost less that way, too.

Do these crack pots realize how much more they ask for than what Trump wanted fort he wall? We can't afford 5 for a border wall but they want to drop 760 for something mostly paid for by states already? Dems have been drinking koolaid for way to long.....

A trillion dollars here, a trillion dollars there. Why don't we just issue Trump, Pelosi, and Bernie credit cards and pretend they're teenagers? Then, at least when they lie, we'll actually hold them accountable. Just a thought...
