This was a planned partnership for a limited time, per the articles. Not necessarily a reflection of a larger trend.

Easiest way for a man to transition to be a woman is to eat a ton of soy.

I'm not surprised. I don't know the situation with them but Burger King had issues. They make a vegan burger. It's cooked in the same grill as everything else. Vegans lose their shit and won't eat it. Result? They set their cause back and vegan burgers go away.

I haven’t tried it either but am more concerned with what increased Soy production will do to to the land and let’s not forget the man boobs increased Soy intake can give you.

Who "thought earlier" that people don't want meat anymore? I bet they're a blue check mark donkey.

haven't tried beyond meat, but have tried multiple other brands. They are all the same, the texture and flavour is just not close enough for me to switch. I don't think it is fair to make out like people are not ready to let go, when the alternative isn't good enough to.

I'm curious myself. I've yet to try it.

it must have been a matter of recipes. Burger King's Impossible Whopper is OUTSTANDING. I am grateful for their recipe.

I've been saying for a while that the "Beyond Meat" fad would collapse. My wife ordered one at a Carl's Junior once because "Oh.. It must be more healthy than meat!" The next time we rolled up, I pointed out that it was 100 calories higher than the meat alternative and full of hydrogenated vegetable oil. She saw the calorie indicator on the board and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. It's absolutely stupid. If you don't want to eat meat, eat vegetables. Don't eat fake meat.
