Man left dangling from bridge after glass panel shatters

A man in China was left dangling from a bridge after its glass panels were damaged in high wind. The man was visiting the 100m-high bridge in the Piyan Mountain, when the incident occurred on Friday. An image widely shared on social media shows him dangling in the middle of the bridge. He managed to get back to safety himself with the help of on-site staff. An investigation has been launched.

a perfect example of what happens when socialismt/ communism is in total control of a country. you get buerocrats in charge of everything everything. and they usually don't know anything about what they are doing.

I'm glad to see that my lack of desire to walk across glass bridges is more than just personal cowardice.

Awww c'mon. Didn't anybody in China think, yeah a glass Bridge - what a bad idea? Seems like an intuitive kind of thing. Glass+bridge=bad idea. Of course China will never tell us how many vacationing citizens plummeted to their deaths.

It's amazing he was able to get off of the bridge frame without getting hurt. I'm glad he's safe.
