Putin pardons Israeli woman jailed on drug charges in Russia

Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia signed a decree on Wednesday which pardons a US-Israeli woman who has been jailed in Russia on drug charges. Naama Issachar, the woman who was jailed, was born in New Jersey and was arrested in April 2019 after the police found nine grams of cannabis in her bags. She was coming from India and had a stopover in Russia.
