WaPo reporter reinstated after Kobe Bryant tweet row

The Washington Post has reinstated a reporter who was suspended after a tweet about sexual allegations against Kobe Bryant soon after his death. Felicia Sonmez had posted a link to a 2016 article about the allegations. Managing editor Tracy Grant called the posts ’ill-timed’, but said they did not break the paper’s policies. More than 300 WaPo employees signed a letter in support of Sonmez.

Something tells me that if her name had been "Felix Stronberg", the outcome would be different.

I suppose you mean "suspended" and not "suspected"? Haha

It was a classless thing to do right after his death but they shouldn't have been suspended. Glad they are back.
