Iraq says anti-IS operations with US coalition resume

Joint military operations between the US-led coalition forces and Iraqi military to counter the Islamic State group have resumed after a nearly three-week pause following the killing of a top Iranian general in Baghdad. ’In light of continued activities by the terrorist group (IS) in many areas of Iraq...it was decided to carry out joint actions,’ an Iraqi military statement said.

I'm in two minds with this. On one hand I understand that giving the president the power to make decisions that may lead to a larger conflict is dangerous. However, limiting a presidents power to react quickly to a situation I think is also dangerous. Regardless of what you think of Trump this decision is also going to effect any Democrat President... I think the hate of Trump is effecting people ability to look to the future.
