FCC to slap $12.9 million fine on man for making robocalls

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has said that it wants to fine a man $12,910,000 for carrying out more than 6,000 calls robocall campaigns in six states. The FCC states that his main intention was to ’cause harm’, intending to gain ’notoriety’ and ’publicity’ for their website and personal brand.
