Michael Bloomberg has contributed more than $200 million of his own money to his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination as of the end of 2019. As per disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission, Bloomberg’s campaign spent US$188 million. That number has likely swelled in January as per reports.

It hasn't done him any good. He's still at 5% and holding. With his money he may run as an independent in the general election but that will be another waste of time. Must be nice to have money to piss away like that. Really he can't find anything better to do.
