U.S. declares coronavirus a public health emergency, restricts flights and entry

The U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, while insisting the risk to Americans from coronavirus is low, nevertheless declared a public health emergency on Friday. Foreign nationals who have recently visited China will be barred from entering the U.S. Americans will be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Flights from China will only be allowed to seven airports.
