Facebook’s new approach ’is going to piss off a lot of people’, says Zuckerberg

Speaking at a tech summit in Utah on Friday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company will stand up for principles like free expression and encryption, even if it means facing a backlash. ’This is the new approach, and I think it’s going to piss off a lot of people’, Zuckerberg said. He said the platform was changing the approach in the face of what he deems as excessive censorship.

I don't think Zuckerberg knows what honesty is.

So they’re just going to be honest about all their scummy shit rather than just not doing the scummy shit?

Twitter banned me for life for offending a guy who claims he's a female. My crime, I refused to participate in his delusion and refer to him as a female. 8 years and 10,000 followers and I was wiped off the platform. I s didn't curse. I didn't call him vile names. I tried to explain his delusion to him in a calm manner. Lifetime ban.

I had to sell their VR headset because the shit suddenly now requires a Facebook account that I don’t have. In order to use any social multiplayer features I have to login. Features that were previously available are now behind a wall. Fuck Facebook and Zucky with a rusty stick.

Just get off Facebook, it's an awful platform and all of its conveniences are offered by other services.

Face-censor-anthing-that-isnt-left-wing-propaganda claims to support freedom of expression? What a bloody joke! He has to fire most of his left-wing anti-democratic wankers for that to happen.

I think this good. You want the CEO to say this. It’s tech culture the liberal managers and VP that are letting their political bias ahead of free speech. And next move a manager or curator does censor they are fired from the organization
