DOJ reveals it’s blocking dozens of emails about Ukraine aid freeze

The Department of Justice revealed that 24 confidential emails exist related to the president’s involvement in the withholding of $400M military aid to Ukraine. The emails, which span from June to September 2019, reveal Trump’s justification at the time for ordering a hold on the security assistance to the country. The heavily redacted emails were released under the Freedom of Information Act.

The senate should have voted to acquit, but I suspect the Republicans cut a deal with Murkowski to delay it until after the SOU. Murkowski, working as an undercover Democrat wanted the time to allow Nancy another headline that could change the outcome. This headline fits that expectation. The Democrats most likely knew about Bolton's book release and timed their delay on the articles to create a basis for new evidence being brought in. And now this.
