Coronavirus: First death outside China reported in Philippines

The Philippines on Sunday announced its first fatality from the new coronavirus outbreak, the first known person to have died outside of China. The patient was a 44-year-old Chinese man from Wuhan. He appeared to have been infected before arriving in the Philippines. Two people have been confirmed to have been infected in the country, including the dead one.

Well that is a bit more of an eye opener.. . What was the mans overall health at the time? Was he currently ill, or in poor health? I do hear from China the death rate is low relative to infection rate. But a healthy 44 year old dying of pneumonia... that is a bit more concerning. I hope they release more information about what type of people are more "high risk" than others. This does not appear to be "old people and very young" type of thing. I think a lot more information is needed, and I hope the research being done now in the US and around the world on it starts to explain exactly the implications of this strain are... Mutation rate and probability? Anything on that yet?
