Iowa has its first caucus-deciding coin flips of the year

In the case of a tie during Monday night’s caucuses, Iowa is resorting to a coin flip to decide which candidates win delegates. A couple have already occurred (one being a precinct at Hills Elementary in rural Johnson County). The winner of the toss determines how the delegates in each location will be divided up. In 2016, 13 caucuses were decided by a toss.
