Canadian court dismisses aboriginal groups’ challenge to Trans Mountain pipeline

Canada’s Federal Court of Appeal rejected a suit by aboriginal groups that sought to block construction of the Trans Mountain pipeline. Construction can now proceed. Four First Nations from British Columbia filed court challenges after the federal government approved the project a second time last June. The court had struck down the first government approval over lack of consultation.
