5 San Jose hospital workers sent home after exposure to coronavirus

Santa Clara County Public Health Department says five healthcare workers at San Jose Good Samaritan Hospital have come into contact with coronavirus. The five workers have been instructed to stay home until Feb. 11. The workers’ symptoms are being monitored because of their close contact to the confirmed virus case.

Uh not a medical professional, but have played the board game Pandemic. Is sending people that *might* have a virus home a smart move?

yes because it's a well know fact that liberal cities have respect for hygiene, and control of disease. we can be super confident that they are responsible, competent, human beings and safeguards are in place. they certainly would never let viral and bacterial infectious diseases run wild for years on end, and not do anything about it.
