Cathay Pacific asks 27,000 workers to take unpaid leave amid coronavirus crisis

Cathay Pacific Airways asked thousands of workers Wednesday to take three weeks off without pay to help the company get through the coronavirus crisis. CEO Augustus Tang: ’Preserving our cash is now the key to protecting our business, All of us need to respond to this rapidly changing and challenging environment.’ He urged all levels of the company to participate, including its ’senior leaders.’

Take 3 weeks unpaid leave or lose your job entirely because we go out of business? It really isn't muxh of a choice but at lesst they are looking for volunteers first. Use it to find a new job.
