U.S. Space Force launches missile test

The U.S. Space Force conducted a test launch of an unarmed Minuteman III ballistic missile across the Pacific Ocean, the first launch since the USSF became the sixth branch of the military in December. The test was conducted by Air Force Global Strike Command. Although a separate service, the Space Force is technically part of the Air Force, in the same way the Marine Corps is part of the Navy.

These tests happen every so often, only this time it's under a new department. Not sure it's news-worthy by itself. Fleshing out the upstart of the new department with more of the duties and responsibilities they now hold would have been welcome.
